EFFECTS OF EXERCISE THERAPY WITH THE BOBATH METHOD ON BALANCE IN A CHILD WITH SPASTIC DIPLEGIC CEREBRAL PALSY: A CASE REPORT

 The overall birth prevalence of cerebral palsy is about 2 per 1000 live births. Weakness in balance control one the most common problems encountered children with CP. One widely used physiotherapy approaches for CP Bobath therapy. Exercise method can improve postural and This study aims to determine effect exercise therapy a child spastic diplegic palsy. using single-subject research conducted on diagnosis who was given 4 times week weeks. Measurement Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS) which carried out before (A1), follow-up (A2), evaluation final outcome (A3). results showed that patient had an increase PBS score, means there functional balance. conclusion this has been weeks improves palsy.
